The Society of Pediatric Echocardiography seeks to promote education for and provide resources to professionals involved in pediatric and congenital echocardiography.

Joining SOPE is easy. There are four membership categories: physician, sonographer, fellow/student, and international. 

Member benefits include biannual newsletters, monthly email notices, one or more educational mini-symposia per year (in conjunction with the ASE, AHA and/or ACC meetings), a website with unusual case presentations and job postings, and access to a network of individuals experienced in the use of diagnostic modalties and ultrasound technology for children and adults with congenital heart disease.

Once you have completed your membership application form, you will be emailed an invoice. Once you have paid your invoice, you will be added as a member and have access to all of the membership benefits.

Membership dues are purposely maintained at a minimum cost in an effort to allow as many members of the pediatric and congenital echocardiography community as possible to join SOPE. This is accomplished by utilizing electronic delivery of member communications and procuring financial support from generous partners in the echocardiography industry.
